I chose El Molino Del Abuelo because I wanted to visit La Ciudad and it had a good location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the featured amenities, especially the free wifi throughout the property. I also enjoyed the availability of local cuisine breakfasts daily from 9 AM.
Neighbor's noise - dogs and chickens.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights and was incredibly impressed. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views and was the perfect place to relax. The hosts, Raul, Flo, and their mother, were amazing - always up for a good conversation and incredibly helpful, even when I was sick. The homemade organic breakfast was delicious, and the location was great for exploring the surrounding areas. Thank you, Flo and Raul, for a fantastic stay!

The children working at this delightful place have truly created a haven for senior guests like myself. The attention to detail in the decoration of the hotel is exceptional, with warm and inviting spaces that make you feel right at home. The general areas, such as the shared terrace and lounge, are comfortable and accessible, allowing seniors to relax and socialize with ease. The thoughtfulness put into making the hotel senior-friendly is evident in every corner, from the well-placed handrails to the comfortable seating areas. It was a pleasure to navigate the property and enjoy the ambiance without any worries.
If I had to suggest one improvement for senior vacationers, it would be to have additional signage and labels throughout the property. This would help us easily navigate and locate various amenities, such as bathrooms or common areas.

The room at El Molino Del Abuelo was cozy and comfortable, with a tile/marble floor and a lovely garden view. I felt like I was surrounded by nature, which made me instantly relaxed and at ease. As a nature lover, this was the perfect room for me.
Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom instead of a private external one. But hey, that's just me.
